Hotel Monaco The hotel is beautiful, but the room was really small. Rooms are expensive. The location is great, it is close to good restaurants and attractions in the D.C. area. This is a renovated post office/hospital, just to let you know; definitely an old building. Its hard to sleep during the night because there are parties some days.
Very nice building, but not my favorite. The building used to be a post office, and the ceilings are very high ceilings, so the rooms have a lot of character. The rooms are fairly small, though, and for some reason, I was unable to get the room to a comfortable temperature, so I had trouble sleeping. It can be loud in the hallways, probably due to a lot of echoing. The rooms are pricey, but the location is excellent.

What are you doing charging $44/night for valet during coronavirus??? This is deplorable greedy behavior and you should be ashamed of yourselves.
RecommendedAbove and beyond expectations. Quiet, great staff, floor to ceiling windows, very comfortable bed, spacious, with grand hallways, food, location, and overall hospitality. Dirty Habit restaurant is just fabulous and I am glad I’ll be returning later this month to indulge. Thank you for making my stay so enjoyable!

Beautiful Hotel in the heart of DC! Rooms are very grand and beautifully designed, only one negative is the limited closet space.
I had a blast staying here! I stayed 5 nights. The staff was amazing and friendly, the hotel was neat. I would stay there again! The layout of the building is confusing, but I figured it out. I think this is my go-to place to stay while in DC.
