Lovely building. Great architecture. Friendly service.
Not worth it. I exchanged a free night for ihg program and they tried to charge additional fees ..... which were waived very quickly.... I am pretty sure the room wasn’t up to code with all wiring being done so poorly. But the building does looks nice.
It is an interesting place. Great location. Great staff. Dog friendly. Guest rooms adequate.
The rooms are incredibly small with very little space, but the service at the restaurant/bar is always spectacular. Probably one of the only hotels that people from the outside visit the restaurant/bar. Great concept at each property.

Really more of a 4.5* rating. This was our first stay at Kimpton and really the only negative was the elevator not working so was a decent hike to our room. The plus side to that was seeing more of the beautiful historic building. The staff was very friendly and our room was very clean. We were a little surprised the room was as small as it was but it was still quite beautiful. We hope to stay again when we visit DC next time.
