이 호텔은 외관과 로비는 멀쩡해 보이지만 실제 이용 과정에서 매우 심각한 문제를 경험했다. 첫째,지하 객실 배정 문제다. 예약 과정에서 지하 객실이라는 안내가 전혀 없었는데 체크인 후 배정된 방은 완전한 지하 1층이었다. 단순히 반지하 수준이 아니라 길가에 지나다니는 사람들 신발 구경만 실컫 할 수 있는 완뱍한 지하 공간이었다. 이 부분은 숙박 플랫폼 측에서도 규정 위반으로 인정해 보상을 받을 수 있었다. 둘째,결제 관련 문제다. 예약 플랫폼을 통해 숙박비를 선결제했음에도 불구하고 체크인 시 다시 결제를 요구했다. 확인 후 해결됐지만 체크아웃 시 또다시 숙박비 결제를 시도했다. 카드 알림을 통해 바로 취소할 수 있었지만 이후 다른 이용자 후기에서도 유사한 피해 사례가 반복적으로 언급돼 있는 것을 확인할 수 있었다. 셋째,가격 대비 가치다. 트윈룸 1박 요금이 219파운드(약 40만 원)에 달했는데 이런 환경과 운영 방식을 고려하면 납득하기 어려운 수준이다. 수백 차례 호텔을 이용해 본 경험이 있지만 이 정도로 문제가 많은 곳은 손에 꼽... read more

This was the most expensive and disappointing accommodation during our 2 week trip to England. I booked a standard king room but the bed was a double and quite uncomfortable. We were told this was a UK King - but all our other bookings had been full sized. Bedding was actually too small and just met the edge of the bed. The room was very small - no dresser or room to store luggage- and a huge armoire held a full size ironing board, a safe, and a refrigerator- along with a non-functioning fireplace. Great location- close to station and city centre. Classic old row homes renovated into unique hotel rooms; super comfortable bed, crisp clean sheets, good shower. Loved the unique decor and friendly, helpful evening staff.

Very lovely hotel! The staff are friendly and helpful, and everything is clean. The beds are comfortable, and the hotel has everything you need. There’s also a large parking area nearby that you can use. Plus, the hotel is in a great location—practically right in the center.
