We LOVE the Adagio Hotel! A blast from the past with a modern touch and casual elegance.
Great location. Room was ready when we checked in, which was early (around noon). Comfy bed and clean room. Room had fully stocked minibar, but no ice bucket and no ice machine. Had to request it. Service was good from all areas but the bar. Not rude or anything. Just not overly attentive. When we ordered a cocktail each, mine was delivered first and about 2-3 minutes later, my wife's came to the table which I thought was odd. What a wonderful hotel. Large spacious comfortable rooms. Friendly staff. Great location - short, not hilly! walk to trolley & Hop On Hop Off pick up points. Coffee available 24/7. Special thanks to David who kept me company when I was awake in the early hours of the morning and Farah who arranged for my sister and I to switch to a 2 x double bed room the day after we arrived.
It was beautiful and comfortable. We really enjoyed the room and the location.
We were the Guest of the Day. Upgraded to suit with free drinks and breakfast. Had a suit with a roof top balcony!
Amazing hotel in the heart of everything! Staff was attentive, room was clean and food was great. I was able to eat breakfast in the green room on a couple occasions. Great service with enjoyable choices! The bar was an unexpected surprise. When we weren't able to get into one of the area restaurants due to an hour wait, we came back to the hotel for dinner. The tuna tartare, salmon entree and pizza were outstanding.
