RecommendedMy friend and I came here at the end of July to both get piercings for our birthdays. Tanner greeted us when we walked in and was so helpful and knowledgeable. Any questions we had he could easily answer. The atmosphere itself was very professional yet laid back and relaxing. Will was our piercer. My friend got her conch pierced and I got my tragus done. This place is the best! I took my very nervous 7 year old to get her ears pierced & they were amazing! They made sure to talk directly to her & not just to me. Plus they were extremely patient with her. We will definitely be back when my 5 year old is ready to get her ears pierced!
These guys were awesome!!! From the moment I walked in and talked to Sam and Tanner at the desk, to getting three piercings done by Jerry, I had an amazing experience. Everyone was SO nice and SO helpful and made the not-so-fun experience of getting three piercings at once into a fun time with a great result. Would rate 10 stars if I could.
Very professional and clean shop. Overall positive experience. Jerry did a phenomenal job with my piercings and providing good conversation to make a girl feel comfortable. Strongly recommend.
My wife took our 6 year old daughter in to get her ears pierced as we did not want the “mall experience”. This is from her: Extremely professional staff, awesome spiritual experience, beautiful jewelry and overall just amazing. Worth every cent. We were going to take her somewhere else but they wanted a photo ID for her which we didn’t have and all Hot Rod needed was her birth certificate and my license. Would highly recommend this place and wouldn’t go anywhere else in the Pittsburgh area.

I got my tragus and daith pierced by Jerry yesterday. I can’t praise him or the staff enough!! Jerry was very thorough in explaining the procedure as well as keeping my nerves at ease. I recommend anyone and everyone who wants a piercing for the first time, 10+ time, or to get a piercing fixed to go to Hot Rod Piercing Company in Southside. The staff from the moment you enter until you’re done is very professional! If I could give more stars , I would! I’m definitely going back for more!
I cannot recommend this place enough. I've been going here for the last 2 years and they are absolutely phenomenal. They'll work with you to see what fits and what works, but they're honest. I had a septum ring that was way too tight and they let me exchange for one that fits me much better. Seriously, go here. They are amazing. William is one of the best piercers.
Great work! Got me in even though I got there a few minutes after they closed! Reached out via fb and they responded right away! Gotta love good customer service!
