Celebrated my mums 60th birthday here & what a fabulous time we had! The property is ideal for all ages … our party ranged from 21-81 in ages & the house and grounds offers some great fun for all! Beautiful kitchen area & brilliant conservatory/dining area! Rooms are spacious and very comfy. Views are lovely. Huge utility room & really well equipped! Pool room is the added bonus. We had the most incredible stay at this beautiful mansion! From the moment we arrived, everything was spotless, welcoming, and even better than the photos. The house was spacious, comfortable, and had everything we could possibly need — perfect for our group getaway. We spent a wonderful weekend at Horspool Retreat celebrating a 40th birthday with friends and children. The property was absolutely perfect for the occasion. Spacious, comfortable, and ideal for both relaxation and fun. I've stayed here with my daughters at least 8 times before at different times of the year. The mansion is stunning, comfy beds, amazing views, mod cons, jacuzzi bath and an indoor swimming pool, all exclusive to your guests. The "indoor heated swimming pool" appealed to us the most. Winter months, the pool is warm and lovely. Sadly weekday summer months i found the "heated pool" isn't warm at all, its really chilly. My teens couldn't even get in, it was just too cold.
