Pleasant stay but not sure it lives up to the universally rave reviews. Positives were exceptional views/location, relaxing living room, lots of drinking water available and decent food onsite plus solid local recommendations on their website. We visited Hope Cove House for lunch today on a recommendation and drove 40 minutes out of our way to get there — totally worth the detour. We started with the scallops and they were honestly some of the best we’ve ever had. I had the sardines which were super fresh and full of flavour, and my wife had the leek & parmesan ravioli which was so good we nearly ordered another portion. Everything was spot on — relaxed vibe, great service, and food that really delivers. Would go back in a heartbeat.
My wife and I recently stayed at Hope Cove House with our newborn. Ra and Ollie couldn’t have made us feel more welcome, the staff are fantastic, equalled by the amazing food & wine. A beautiful setting, highly recommend.
