Definitely coming back here, loved it!! First time I had been here with my girlfriend, it was a good choice. I had the chicken fried steak which was good but I fell in love with the sides I had especially the greens! Next time I drive through Austin

Not sure what happened, but the pulled pork sandwich was not good. Seems like it was boiling in a pot for days and was mushy like applesauce. I was visiting from Phoenix and had it Monday, today is Thursday and Im still "feeling it".
Gumbo was great, grilled catfish was okay, the blackberry cobbler was okay.
Food was great!!l The lemonade comes in a pitcher. No waiting on refills. This time appetizers...next time dinner!!
Just got home from our first dinner at Hoover's. I am so sad that I don't know what our servers name was - but he was amazing! Food was great, margaritas were great, it was all fantastic! Thanks Hoover's. We'll be back often!
