I had the opportunity to go on mission IX (guardian) and X (nurse) from Syracuse,NY. I couldn’t have had a better experience than I did during these long days. I loved every minute of it. The team does a wonderful job putting everything together.

I went on an honor flight back in September 2010 as a volunteer with the West GA Honor Flight from LaGrange, GA, with a Navy veteran named Bob Hill. My trip with honor flight is, to this day, one of the greatest experiences of my life. My great-grandfather was a pilot in the U.S. Navy during WWII, but unfortunately he passed away when I was twelve and never got to see his memorial, so it was a great honor and privilege for me to accompany another veteran on the trip!
You gave my father, a WWII vet in the Pacific Theatre his greatest gift. When he passed away he insisted on being buried in his Honor Flight shirt. God bless you all!
