It was a day each veteran will never forget, we were treated like heroes. A very warm reception at the airport before leaving, another warm reception in Washington, and a wonderful tour of the memorials, then an awesome welcome home at Lexington airport. A really awesome group called, “Rolling Thunder” lined our way through a huge crowd, love those guys. It was truly an awesome day, thank you Honor Flights.

As A Vietnam Veteran the Honor Flight I was invited on this year 2019 was the Welcome Home I had been looking for since 1968. I was amazed by the Guardians, Volunteers, and Large crowed of Greeters at the Airport in DC & at the airport upon our return home. It is a life changer for me, an experience I will never forget. The Fact that so many really care to take the time and do the hard work to make this happen. I will never forget them ever.

I made the flight to D C in 2009 and it was the biggest thrill of my life. Seeing all the monuments was Great and the WW2 one was outstanding and Beautiful. Troy Edwards, Austin, Arkansas

I perform with a local community concert band several times a year (National Airport); it’s an experience that I cannot describe. Absolutely amazing that these veterans are given the opportunity to visit their memorials.
