Ellis County Honor Flight Honor Flight National has numerous hubs operating all across the United States with a common goal, that is: to take as many of the remaining WWII veterans as possible to Washington to see the WWII Memorial before it is too late. We are losing 1000+ each day of these heroes from the "Greatest Generation". They and their families served and sacrificed so we as a nation can continue to enjoy the freedoms we have today. I was on a Honor Flight out of Concordia,Ks. in June of 2017. My first time to Washington,D.C. I was very impressed with the things we saw. I would like to see all the Vets get to go on one of these Flights. Thanks for the chance to go on one.

I was able to see the D. C. Vets attractions Oct 14 as a Guardian (and I'm a Vet) thru Snap On Tools and Honor Flight Network. They all did a fantastic job to show all the Vets a great time & a big welcome. I will never forget the very nice time I had& love to show my pictures to family and friends. Especially loved the World War # 2 Memorial and the welcome by the kids there that day. They shook every Vets hand and thanked us for our service, very touching! Thanks to Diane Gresse and all for a great job.
