Ellis County Honor Flight Honor Flight National has numerous hubs operating all across the United States with a common goal, that is: to take as many of the remaining WWII veterans as possible to Washington to see the WWII Memorial before it is too late. We are losing 1000+ each day of these heroes from the "Greatest Generation". They and their families served and sacrificed so we as a nation can continue to enjoy the freedoms we have today. 36 hours of friendship with other veteran's from WWII, Korea and Vietnam. I was truly amazed and appreciative of the Honor Flight management and the wonderful volunteers that give of their time to ensure that we, the veterans, are truly welcomed back home from the conflict of war. Honor Flight #40 will always be one of the highlights of my 87 years.
Iam a Vietnam veteran and I was on honor flight before and I would like to go on again with a veteran I went with another veteran it was great

I think everything was great and all the people are great and it was a good trip anybody that's a vet should go to it
