Again, HomeServe proved to give better service. I have two warranty services. Because of the holidays, I attempted to make two appointments to resolve a plumbing repair. The "other service" took my $100 payment and never responded. When I called the "other service" I asked why they had not responded. No explanation. I also had a problem getting my refund. When I bought my home, the seller was required to provide a home warranty plan. HomeServe was the vendor. I filed a claim for a new water heater. I got it. Everything went fine. I elected to NOT renew the following year through no fault of HomeServe, but we decided we didn't need it. I do remember the cancellation process to be annoying, but I remember speaking to someone over the phone to cancel. Fast-forward three years. The electrician showed up on time and proceeded to evaluate the situation, which he could not resolve, based solely on their contract through ******** ******* But Kevin would have been more than willing to attempt to solve the issue, but after what he thought, I decided to go back to the original electrician with the contractor I hired to re-do the upstairs bedroom and the family room.
