Edit: finally got my deposit back after nearly 3 months of harassing them for it. I lived here from September 23 to September 25. I cant speak for the new manager as she only just came in as I was leaving. But here's my experience with the place. Terrible conditions. Wasn't cleaned or looked after before we first moved in. Holes in floor, streaky paint and chipping. No sense of management as we went through 4 managers in the 2 years I was there, with one only lasting 2 weeks before leaving. I’m very disappointed with my experience with this place. I moved out and have still not received my deposit back, despite it being well past the expected return period. I’ve emailed the management but haven’t received any response. Communication has been very poor, and the lack of updates is extremely frustrating. I wouldn’t recommend this accommodation based on my experience with how they handle deposits and tenant communication.
It's been almost a whole term since I moved in, and I still don't have a key to my room, I've been keeping my door open with a door stop for the past 2 months, with no end in sight
Pathetic! It’s been 2 months now, I am still waiting for my deposit money back. I asked reception staff and they are not at all interested in helping their tenants. I don’t know what happened to Ben Russell court it was not like this, earlier they had very good service. I think I lost my deposit money.
Edit: they never bothered to give my deposit back and now I have to pay a solicitor to get it back. Awful. I lived here from September 23 to September 25.
