Terrible experience! I went in for a terrible itchy rash (poison ivy, oak, sumac, parsnip) that I've been covered in from head to toe for a week. The receptionist was rude, the triage nurse rushed me along.. And then once I was in a room the nurse there wouldn't even touch me, acted as though I was diseased. When the P.A. came in she hardly looked at the rash at all, couldn't tell me what it was only said that she was giving me meds there and a script to leave with.. They didn't give me any discharge paperwork, any follow up... read more
The WORSE, WORSE place I've ever been to. I've got a bill from them in 2017. I didn't have a health insurance at that time, so they gave me 30% discount. I paid the whole amount. Since than I keep receiving bills that I still owe 30% of the discount, which they gave it to me. I've been calling for many times trying to solve this issue. Now i got a letter saying they'll send me to collection. It's INSANE!!! People are UNHELPFUL!!!...
I have to say I love Holyoke hospital. We literally pass Baystate to come here. I'm here tonight with my mom and the staff has been wonderful. With that said as I am sitting with my mom, laying in the ER....I have to question the bodily fluids (not hers she is in with back issues). This is all dried on the bed she is in
don't allow patients with broken bones wait 6 days for XR results!
I am still in the ER after being here for several hours. All that has happened is that my vitals have been taken twice. Still waiting to see a doctor and have further tests done.
RecommendedWarm family environment. It is the "Cheers" of hospitals where everybody knows your name. Especially Oncology
