As a guest during Matthew, the hotel was near capacity. Yet, we ever waited more than 5 minutes when asking the front desk for an accommodation (a toaster, more coffee, extra blankets, etc). They set up board games and popcorn and movies for the kids who were locked down because of the curfew in Orange County - and as a parent whose kids were crawling up the walls, I truly appreciated having somewhere for them to blow off steam. Got evacuated here from Daytona Beach during Hurricane Mathew. Staff was very accommodating.

On our recent stay we checked in and found out that a large group of bikers was holding a convention there. There was extremely loud rap/ hip hop music at the pool. They were nice people and there was security on hand but the hotel aloud them to play music and rev their bikes til after 2am, that's when I had enough and called the front desk. I would have appreciated if they had warned us at check in, gave us a different room, offered us ear plugs or put a stop to the noise earlier.

I recently had the pleasure of doing 2 weddings at Holiday Inn & Suites Across from Universal Orlando! The venue is beautiful and the Catering Sales Manager, Erin and her staff are wonderful to work with!! One of the weddings I performed was an outside intimate wedding for a lovely couple and the other wedding was more formal that included two of their banquet rooms for an incredible couple that I have been working with for almost a year.
