I had the most horrible customer service review with Hocon today. I called to discuss the $3 increase in my price from Jan to now (Oct) and instead of receiving an explanation I was made to feel as though I had done something wrong just for asking. She was very dismissive even after I explained to her that my questions were reflective of me not knowing much about Propane. When I asked to speak to the manager I received even more attitude. I have never been so disappointed.
Been a customer for over 20 yrs. Just had my fireplace insert cleaned as part of my maintenance plan. Anthony came on time and was very courteous. A real professional. Would highly recommend Hocon to anyone looking for a propane and oil company.
I cannot say enough good things about Hocon Gas. We have been a customer for almost 20 years. They have always been so helpful and a pleasure to work with. We started with a small propane stove and due to the prices and helpfulness from Hocon, we now have another propane stove, cook with propane and switched our oil boiler to propane. The greatest switch we ever made. Thank you Hocon Gas for carrying us into our senior years with courteous and prompt help when needed.
i agree with the other reviews. Prices are horrible, customer service is a joke and they are very salesy. Only care about making money. Even if you have a "will call" arrangement (ie, you call for delivery rather than on schedule), they'll just deliver so they can recognize revenue. Several yrs ago they got a new sales lead and he's made the company so money grubbing. Please go elsewhere. Have been with Hocon-******** for 16 years. A pleasure to deal with.
Hocon delivered propane to my home as the former owners were contracted with them (3 years ago). They charged me $8.66 per gallon on their invoice. I called them this am to get a price quote for delivered propane to my home $2.30 per gallon! that's 3.75x MORE. How does this not violate some sort of law? We have learned to rely on Hocon Gas as our supplier. They are consistently on time and their employees are friendly and helpful. *** * ****** *****
Their prices are horrible. They were charging me $5.38 a gallon. I called to inquire about it and said that was the rate. I informed them that I would be switching companies and they lowered it a little I think it was less a dollar so I'm still paying $4.50 a gallon. They also put a tank fill lock on my tank due to a dispute with my neighbor downstairs as well. He has since switched to a new company and I'm going to be doing the same.
