Troy Heller is no longer the chef. He was the only thing you had going for you.
Beautiful building, good amenities, great staff.
Very comfortable in an old style way. The only negative issue was the circuit breaker kicked off while I was using the microwave. I called the lobby and they responded immediately and fixed it. I didn't have time to sample the restaurant.
I stayed for two nights wonderful people good food walking distance of all the sights to see downtown I will return historic value of the hotel is pure Wyoming history
Awesome historical hotel with modern conveniences
Business response:
Steven, thank you for your comments!
It's a very nice old world charm type of stay. Great food and helpful staff makes this Hotel a great place. The Plains should consider to offer guests earplugs, as the Union Pacific rail road yard is an ear-shot away... That hustle and bustle woke me up. Other then that? Very memorable stay. You will enjoy yourself.
Business response:
Dear Jean, thank you for choosing the #HistoricPlains on your recent visit to #Cheyenne. We certainly appreciate your patronage and more importantly your feedback. The trains on occasion can be heard. The ear plugs are a nice suggestion I will share with our management team. Its great to hear the staff exceeded expectations and you enjoyed the restaurant. Thank you again for staying with us. Hope you had a nice holiday weekend. All the best! We hope to see you again on a future visit.
