The place is pretty worn cheap small pillows rugs and furniture is old worn and dirty we stayed in a suite which was ok however rug was filthy stains all over it. Looks like they haven't done any work on the place since 15 years ago when they refurbished it. Heaters aren't big enough to heat the entire room. The small window right over the bed needs to be sealed cold air blows in all night and day so you freeze in bed however sitting on the couch right next to the heater you can be warm. Was there and purchased a New Years package which included dinner and breakfast. Service New Years Eve night in the restaurant was horrible, worst I've seen, our waitress was extremely rude. I live in Cheyenne, and will never visit the Plains Hotel again.

We really enjoyed our stay at the Historic Plains Hotel. Parking was different, but not a problem. The decor of the lobby is beautiful and it's history amazing. Our room was nice, clean. Breakfast in the hotel restaurant each morning was enjoyable. We will definitely stay here again on our next visit to Cheyenne.
