We absolutely love this place! The suite was spacious and the staff was amazing. Parking is within a few blocks or you can park in two hour parking on the street all weekend long. We were here for a short weekend stay with our 8 yr old son and 2 nephews, ages 10 & 11. They loved it too! The elevator is small, but history says that's so peeps wouldn't try to bring their horses up 😂. Plus it was built in 1911! We'll be back.

Business response:

Lisa ;) Thank you, thank you, thank you for the wonderful review. We are glad that you love the The Historic Plains Hotel as much as we do. We hope to have you return and stay with us soon.

Staff was nice, elevator was SMALL, room smelled like old build, parking is off site in less the desired areas we elected to use the parking garage didn't seem very secure, came down to get are car next morning went to use the elevator and found someone either passed out or sleeping in it decided stairs where a safer option. Will not stay here again don't like having to blocks to get back and forth to my car.

Business response:

Mark I apologize you did not have a good experience. We strive to have great guest experiences and will take your comments and try to expand on what we can. We hope you will give us another try the next time you are in Cheyenne.

We haven't even checked in yet and we're not impressed. Parking is difficult, confusing and not even safe. We arrived early but are being held to checking in at EXACTLY 3pm. The restaurant isn't even open. Now let's wait and see what the room's like!

I loved this hotel! So cool to look at all the old memorabilia! Room was spacious (ok bathroom was small but so what!) the room was clean and comfortable. We were on the 5th floor. It was cool to sit in the lobby and imagine all these walls could say. Would stay here again for sure.

This place was quite an experience, a small town full of history. The people are nice, and showed me a real city type of love.

This place is wonderful. The staff was great, very gracious hosts. The rooms are small but clean and comfortable. The free breakfast options included a cheese omelet , bacon and much more. I was just passing though town for the night. What a wonderful surprise this experience was. I would make a point to stop again. It is out of the way but well worth the stop. This would be a great place for business convention, proms, weddings. Large common areas with plenty of abiance.
