Stayed at Marriott almost exclusively past 20 years. Loved most of them. This one has ended that. Everything sucked.
$300 a night for closed green pool during Spring Break. This is unacceptable. My family planned this trip and nothing was ever said about the pool being closed. Was told yesterday it would be open today. IT’S GREEN. Ridiculous! Refunds!!!!! A $50 credit for the hotel is unacceptable. No mention of pool being closed at check in or prior to check in.
I recently hosted a music concert event at the Hilton Head Resort & Spa. My event was such a success, that I am now working with the Resort staff to host recurring shows that combine Music, Golf and Beach activities! We just arrived here and we were very hungry and there was no microwave in the room. We requested for a microwave and it came to our attention there were only 10 microwaves in this whole hotel. This is absoultely unbelievable! What makes me also mad is that if they informed us in the beginning that there is only 10 microwaves, we wouldn't have waited an hour call back. Ordered Room service after a really long day, Came on a tray no cart- no where for two to eat in the room. Stood at the dresser. Yes they checked the boxes about calling to see how everything was ok. Should they not know there is no where for two to eat when they ask you how many diners?
Room itself is comfortable enough. Have an ocean facing room with balcony. The view is nice. Walls are really thin. We can hear conversations of people staying on each side of us. A really big disappointment is that all the outdoor amenities are closed except for two whirlpools. The heated outdoor pool is drained. We discovered this after checking in. The staff was awesome they were very courteous and helpful. We had a very large group of 10 couples with us on our stay at the Marriott resort and everyone had a wonderful experience. Our rooms were spacious and very clean. My husband and I will definitely be visiting again with our family.
Very Nice!! Staff is very friendly & helpful and it is a Beautiful Resort!
