Quick and easy check in, courteous and helpful staff. Be warned the easy 20 minute walk to the Phillips arena was closer to an hour up and down hills. Uber and taxi easy to obtain.

Business response:

Those hills can definitely slow down a fast-paced walk, and I'm sorry if your trip to Phillips Arena took a little longer than you originally anticipated, Lori. It sounds like you had a nice visit to Atlanta, and I thank you for choosing our hotel for your stay. We'd love to have you back next time you're in the area! -Michael Fletcher, Director of Sales & Marketing

Our room was skipped twice on the cleaning, I had to ask for it to be cleaned and we still waited three hours for someone to come clean. There was black mildew in the grout of the shower (it came out with a little scrape with my fingernail). Definitely needs a deep clean. Staff were very friendly, especially Deja in the restaurant. Still have one more night and definitely wish we were going home today.

Business response:

The only time a room will be skipped during cleaning is if a guest is still in their room while our hospitality staff is making rounds, and I apologize if that happened two days in a row, Janette. I can assure you that our rooms are thoroughly cleaned between tenants, so I'm concerned to hear of the shower conditions which you've described and will be looking into this with my team. THat being said, I'm glad the staff was friendly and accomodating during your visit and hope you'll consider staying with us again on your next ... read more

We drove almost 300 miles to stay for a night at this hotel, so we could take our daughter to the aquarium. Checking in/out literally took forever! They have a little store with food which tasted like it had sat out all day and way over priced! The worst part was the room smelled terrible! Like cigarettes and the elevators smelled of marijuana. This is definitely a place I will never take my child to stay again. I emailed Hilton and got a response from a supervisor saying he would take our comments under consideration, as if... read more

Business response:

We do our best to provide each guest with the best stay possible which is why we take all feedback into careful consideration, Amber. It would never be our intention to mislead our guests, and I apologize if you felt that your room was misrepresented in photos. Our hotel is a non-smoking property, so I'm concerned to hear that you felt as though your room and elevator smelled like smoke. And as for check-in/check-out times, prompt service is of the utmost importance to us, but I'm sorry if you didn't feel as though you were ... read more

Hotel is in bad need of re-do. Tub faucet dripped ALL night - kept us awake. Rooms smelled "doggy." I would not recommend this hotel to anyone. No decent place to eat breakfast w/o spending your life savings. $450 for 2 nights was a rip off. Never again.

Business response:

While our property may not be the newest of the Hilton family, we think our accommodations are quite satisfactory, so it's tough to hear that you felt otherwise, Sue. We'd never want a guest to be kept awake all night, so I'm concerned to hear about the leaky faucet in your room -- please be assured that we will be looking into this. We do our best to provide each guest with the best value possible out of their stay, and I'm sorry if you didn't feel this was the case. If you have any questions or would like to further discus... read more

A 1000 room Hilton Hotel runs out of bagels , donuts, danish croissants and other breakfast items in their take out 24 hour shop by 9:30am on Wednesday Dec 30, 2015. Preplanning is what it is called. This is unacceptable for a Hilton Hotel, I would expect out of stocks at a Walmart. Not what a Hilton Honors member expects.

Business response:

It wasn't our intention to run out of bakery items in the 24-hour shop, and I sincerely apologize for the frustration you were caused as a result, Michael. We forecast and plan for our anticipated demand but, unfortunately, there are times (like this one) that unexpected factors get in the way of our ability to provide. I'm sorry if you were unable to have the breakfast you desired during your visit but hope the rest of your stay was pleasant overall. -Michael Fletcher, Director of Sales & Marketing

Waited over an hour for our room to be ready. Room key didn't work. REPLACED 3 TIMES...STILL DIDN'T WORK! !! 3 children sat in hallway and waited over an hour to get lock replaced. Do come here unless you enjoy wasting your time in their lobby and hallway.

Business response:

It's never our intention to displace a guest, and I sincerely apologize for the issues with your room key and lock, John, and completely understand your frustration with the situation. We attended to the problem as quickly as possible, and I appreciate your patience while we replaced the lock. This setback aside, I hope had a nice visit to Atlanta and thank you for choosing our hotel for your stay. -Michael Fletcher, Director of Sales & Marketing

Awesome hotel property, wonderful Christmas decorations, & music, and, great & fast elevators! :D

Business response:

Thanks for paying us a visit this holiday season, Jim! I'm thrilled you had a wonderful stay (only made better by those speedy elevators!), and I hope to have you back next time you're in the area. -Michael Fletcher, Director of Sales & Marketing

Great experience! Very clean room. No problems checking in. The bartender at Southern Elements was awesome! Lee did a wonderful job, even with a very crowded bar. She gave us directions to everywhere we wanted to go and gave us honest opinions on places we were wanting to see! The hotel was great but Lee was definitely the reason for the Five star review!

Business response:

Thanks for giving Lee a special shout-out, Sarah -- she's going to be so excited to read this! I'm glad your stay was easy and comfortable and hope to have you back next time you're in Atlanta. -Michael Fletcher, Director of Sales & Marketing
