Delicious!!!! – Best food, best service ever! Every time we go to Houston's, we are met with extremely friendly and professional staff. They definitely pride themselves on how their waitstaff looks and acts. The food is fabulous, and they have such a great variety. We always take our out of town friends here. Keep up the good work!
Best spinach dip in town – Despite the name change, Hillstone still delivers on a happening after work scene and solid food. I hop in here frequently for an after-work glass of wine while splitting spinach dip and ribs with friends. Some nights we splurge on the brownie sundae which is worth every calorie. It never disappoints. Try and get there early if you want to score a seat at the bar. While its prices could be a little more affordable, you just can't put a price on spinach dip that is that good.
Citysearch Editorial Review – Savor a juicy steak or pork chops cooked to perfection on a hickory grill in a lodge atmosphere while sitting back in a red leather booth by candlelight and listening to pianists perform jazz. Watch chefs prepare meals in the open kitchen or catch the game on one of the high-definition TVs in the bar. Besides steaks and pork chops, the restaurant has minimized its menu offerings, which also include seafood, burgers, salads and desserts.
Super all around... – Live jazz, friendly yet polite waitstaff, good food and an attractive, warm space. For us, a lucky accidental find, but we will definitely return!
Don't judge our city by this place – Visitors to our great city: If you happen to dine at Houston's on Kirby please don't judge the city or its citizens by your experience here. I can't explain its popularity, although at one time Houstn' served the best fast casual food in the city. The arrogant attitude by management, the untrained waiters, the over-priced menu, all contribute to a negative dining experience. Love the Ribs! – I love the ribs at this place. Went to another place on Park Ave that is supposed to be known for their ribs, but it doesn't compare to this place.
Great Service – I had an excellent dining experience at Hillstone. I would recommend it to anyone who is visiting New York.

give this a miss and head to park ave location – dont walk passed... RUN poor excuse of a houstons restuarant, goto the park avenue location.. the difference is for all to see. staff not friendly here, or the least bit helpful, and whats with the limited menu. Really cant stess enough goto the park ave location, went here at the weekend to give it the benefit of doubtand walked out after waiting 20 mins for our drinks.. and it wasnt busy forget it
