Great service, good food – My friend and I frequent this location and usually have our meal at the bar. The staff is always super friendly and cater to your every need. The decor is nice and lighting is dim, good for romance. The dining room is big, but if you want to be cuddled up to a date, sit at the bar instead because the tables are huge in width. It doen't get any better – My wife and I rec'd a Gift Certificate for our wedding back in Feb. we used it last night 11/13/2010. It was the best dining experience we have ever had in Phoenix. Great People who took the best care, and I mean everyone at Houston's. Caatlyn took our name to seat us, but we chose to sit at the bar, Jill the bar tender didn't miss a beat nor did anyone. Exceptional Dining – If I were a millionaire, I'd eat at Houston's every day. :) The atmosphere, service and food is superb. Everything --appetizers, main course, dessert, wine -- is just perfect. Also, they don't charge a corking fee if you bring a bottle that is not served in-house. I left happy and ready for my next visit!
Great Steaks Meet Contemporary Architecture – I love Houston's. After our first visit, it immediately became our GoTo spot for celebrating deals or schmoozing new clients. Great dining experience – Last night we ate at Houstons before going to the movies. Every staff person in the restaurant was friendly, helpful and extremely polite and appropriate. They were happy and prompt to comply with any request we made. The food was delicious - best French Dip I have had - beef was outstanding and the fries were perfect.
Best Roast Chicken – I love the roast chicken...my dream is to make some as delicious as they do!
Hillstone, not Houston's – The Hillstone restaurant group decided to change the name of its NYC Houston’s locations and the rumors as to why have been flying. One says that keeping the name Houston’s (at their multiple locations) would have caused them to have to list calorie counts on all menus. Best Ribs in town – The Service is top notch. The atmoshere is nice and dark, comfortable. The food is outstanding. If you love baby back ribs, Houstons has the best - get extra BBQ and the shoe string fries. They also have the best desert I have ever had, it's only on the menu in the winter months.... Apple Walnut Cobbler - it's to die for.
