Came for a bank holiday weekend escape and got the isolation we craved. Met Stephen on arrival (Nice bloke) who showed us to the Shepherds hut and gave us some ideas on where to eat and go for supplies and a heads up on some of the local activities that were happening around the village in Chipping etc... The place is lovely, very rustic and well set out inside with all the necessary, very comfy double bed. Ice cream/Gelato was very nice with a good variety of options at a fair price. Only things stopping it from getting 5 stars is a lack of wind protection for the seated area and the napkins stuck to the cone.
