Lovely period property with plenty of character. The rooms are large throughout and have beautiful views of the surrounding woods. It's a little tired inside, but this was expected given the age of the property. There is only one shower/bathroom and an additional toilet ensuite, so expect a queue if staying as a group. Nice property but needs a bit of attention. Posted as a hot tub property, but the hot tub isn't hot...fixed at a max 35 degrees which rapidly cools to 33 when the lid is off, making it fairly pointless, especially in the winter.
Stayed here for my birthday with all my mates, we had a great time! The hot tub is brilliant and there is lots of space in the lodge.
We booked this lodge for my daughters 30th birthday so she could be with her niece and gran. Plus we had a hot tub for the kids. Great little place, rooms clean and tidy, house well supplied with items you need so you only need to take consumables, food, drink etc. The drive down on to the premises is steep and uneven but it's not that bad if you take your time on it. Thanks for a great few days away.
Lovely lodge as a part of the larger estate. A group of 8 of us stayed for one night after a wedding in the local area. The rooms were all very good sizes with comfy beds. There was one main bathroom and one ensuite bathroom downstairs. Good size and well stocked kitchen and a large lounge area and dining area too. Our favourite part was the hot tub!
