Nice rooms, great food and excellent staff .
We had a lovely night stay at this lovely hotel. The drive up to the house through the arch way of trees was beautiful. The gardens and views are perfect. The price was fantastic for staying in such a beautiful old historic building. The gardens are wonderful for a stroll after breakfast and there’s a lovely old church In the grounds. They seem rather discriminatory, they're urgently looking for chefs. You apply for the job and within minutes they glance over your CV, dont bother calling you, and deny your application. Feel like I dodged a bullet on this one - but as an ex recruiter as well as a well rounded Head Chef, that's not how it's meant to be done.
