Lovely and friendly staff made you feel more than welcome. Hotel is very tidy and the rooms are a good size with everything you need. Ideal location only a few minutes walk to town centre and Derwent Water lake. Wide range of choice for breakfast and food was delicious. Would 100% recommend and wiil be returning.
Laura and her team are amazing!!! What a team of well mannered young people helping us have the most incredible breakfast I’ve ever had, at any hotel I’ve been to. I can not tell you how unbelievable the views are from room 2. What a find and what a place! Walked past this for years, never again I’ll be heading straight back. Wow so nice
Beautiful property facing the golf course and lake. Cheerful staff, comfortable bed, excellent Bfast, impressive interiors and on-site parking. Enjoyed my stay in this property.

A truly wonderful stay at the Highfield Hotel. Rooms were comfortable, spacious and felt like a home away from home. Lovely mountain views from rooms 15 and 20. Bottled water, tea/coffee tray with biscuits and hairdryer in rooms. Towels, shampoo, soap and shower gel provided in bathroom. I was also able to request an iron/ironing board from reception.
