In 2013, my parents tried to purchase a Jetta Hybrid but no sale from Hewlett (which should have been a sign). My folks bought from the Temple dealership with no problem. They did all their service at Hewlett and last month were charged $480 for a stripped oil plug. Oil plugs don't strip by themselves, a technician has to mis-thread it or over tighten to strip it. This week, the transmission stopped working. A recall campaign in 2013 (repaired by Hewlett) should have corrected the problem but Hewlett wants $6000 to repair. V... read more
