If I could rate 0, I would. We paid $1k for our trip, for a Tahoe or similar, THEY RENTED IT TO SOMEONE ELSE! Were stuck with a traverse, if I wanted something this size, I wouldve driven my Durango and saved myself a grand! This is a million percent ridiculous! They are rude, unprofessional, and disrespectful! We will NEVER rent with hertz again!
The staff have you wait in line for hours 3 people behind the counter and only one working.. I watch all the other rental places customers come in and out with ease and very little hassle.. 30th street should train their employees on smoother faster and friendly service
The Operations Manager ***** is a Racist to Asians. He disrespected the customer in front of me and refused to help him confirm. Once it was my turn he didn't even offer any help. I have never purchased the gas option before and I completely forgot and refilled before I returned. I paid $55+ for the refuel option and I paid $35 to refill at the pump. The rental agent and I called my bank to process a charge for a rental charge I paid for a service that I did not receive
I have just rented a vehicle from Herz at the San Antonio airport. I did read the rental agreement which does NOT state that the credit card must be a chipped card. I arrived at San Antonio airport and was all prepared with my credit card and license for check in. It was then that I was informed that my credit card was unacceptable because it did not have chip capabilities. Rented car from Hertz for 9 days - Hertz people were helpful and professional - car was fine. Got bill for EZ Pass - which we used for TWO days - was $90 - bill shows $12.99 per day - billed me for the entire length of car rental even though charges for use of EZ Pass were only for two days! RIP off!!
My wife and I are attending a business conference in KC, Missouri which is a significant investment of 3 days and $2,000 with travel and lodging costs. She is traveling to another conference in our personal vehicle and we had reserved a vehicle for me to return home several weeks in advance. With 3 hours before departure we receive a call from the local agent informing us they don’t have any inventory for me.
