I rented a 2023 black Malibu from Hertz Round Rock TX from 7/21 to 7/24. I needed a car to take my son to a tennis tournament which was 2.5 hours away. The car was fine on 7/21. In the morning of 7/22, we started driving, and the tire pressure indicator came on a few blocks away from my house. I kept driving a little more, but it was obvious that I had a flat tire. I would give this location negative 5 stars if I could. What an absolute joke this place is. Door was shut in my face at 4pm. My reservation was for 4pm. Was told by ************************* the BRANCH MANAGER that he had a family to go home to and was leaving for the day. Meanwhile he sat at his desk for another half hour while I figured out what my options were as I was now stuck. I made an reservation very easily by calling in. They gave me competitive rates and gave them my credit card and they put a hold on it and sent me my reservation number. I dropped my vehicle off at a Dealership for repairs and then tried to pick up my Hertz rental. I was told they did not have any cars and just because you make a reservation and they take a deposit does not mean they make any effort to have a vehicle for you. Their car breaks down and I have to walk to the DFW airport from the broken down car and they charge me for the tow, insanity.

I have rented from Hertz since 1967, spend about $2000 a year for over 50years, the Sacramento Airport is the most disgusting car return I have seen in over forty countries. the managers Sergio and Joseph are rude.

First time rental with Hurtz.Ended up with a Kia not chevy Malibu. Car rental was 641.26 picked up at Saint George Airport, going one way to Salem .Rented at 10.41 am. Call center did the rental for me ,saying because my husband's 6 day 10 hour schedule I could drop car off in Salem ,Oregon at 7 pm.Theres a drop box for keys. Also not true. Salem location, told by the people that work there, said call center was wrong there's no drop key box due the drug problem in neighborhood. I returned the car at 430. We tried to do a rent to own car. It was out of inspection and they REFUSED to have inspect it before we took it out to rent to test drive it and have our mechanic look at it unless we committed to the purchase! They got visibly angry when we mentioned our mechanic checking it. And the ppl were extremely unprofessional.

Just wanted to take my kids on vaca after saving for 6 months reserved a car had the money got there and they said that they could only take a credit card I did have a credit card with $300 on it to have a hold put on it for the trip and then I was going to use my debit card for the rest of the payment you would not accept it so 6 months of planning and now me and my kids are sitting in my house for a whole week this company needs to be shut down immediately they are horrible people do not deserve anybody's money.

Hertz has an extremely poor customer service. Do NOT rent Hertz EVs.
