Really disappointed with the place! The castle is under refurbishment, that's understandable but the gardens that, as advertised, was one of the main attractions was extremely badly preserved even with the spring at its highest, lots of areas needed gardening and watering. Such waste of money. This was during May.25. Maybe they had "fixed" the garden... but do not know if worth it
Nice trip out here, went on the house tour also which was good and interesting. Currently not all of the house is accessible due to building works, which means I shall have to return another time to see the rest of the house. Gardens were absolutely lovely.
Very nice garden and amazing tour guide. Too bad there were some ongoing work when we came and didn’t have a photo at the front.
