The pharmacy could not provide my asthma medication while I was admitted for an operation and would not allow me to take my own medication. I paid my co-pay before I was admitted and I have been billed twice and threatened with collections by the anasthesiologist for the co-pay that I had already paid in full.

I went 2 this hospital because I had an allergic reaction from eating some pasta salad that I bought from a grocery store. So the nurse took me back & put me in a room to sit & wait 4 the doctor to come in. Me & my fiance were sitting in the room for 20 minutes waiting for someone to come in so a nurse finally came in & gave me a shot 2 stop my allergy & said the doctor should be in shortly I never saw the doctor so we just left. This hospital is wonderful. Always caring and efficient. They are wonderful with kids to and always fairly quick for an emergency. All my doctors from there have been wonderful as well.

I had surgery performed here on 8/22/2013. The staff was very professional & the facility was beautiful. Everything went according to schedule & the took very good care of me!!!!! KUDOS!!!!!!

I received a bill from them for a hospital visit by a Dr. Seward on 7-1-13. I live in Nevada, I have been in hospitals here but did not even have a doctor appt. on 7-1-13. Nor have I ever been to MI. I called the billing department in MI for Providence Park Hospital regarding the bill. They did bill Medicare under my social security number. I think they are committing Medicare fraud or a case of identity fraud. But they would have to have my social security card and ID for identity.

Such a terrible experience!!! I am a physician and its deplorable that this hospital is running this way. There are few doctors here, run by nurses with very little overall experience. I was with my mother most of the times and the staff found my presence annoying! Seems like it's much easier to completely neglect a patient when they do not have an able bodies individual by their side. Stay away is right on!!! Do not bring your elderly family members here because they will find a reason to admit you so they can milk your insurance company (Medicare). This hospital has several negative issues. They don't even have the appropriate test equitment that they are sending you to southfield as an out patient for testing. Also communication is horrible!!!!!!

Stay away from this hospital for baby delivery. I have done the nurse duty because of unavailability of one more nurse during pregnancy.And the child care nurse who checks blood pressure also some what rude.

Stay away. Consider either a midwife, or U of M. My wife and I went there to have our daughter and were treated like it was our privilege to be there. Daughter was born cold and they put her on a scale for a good amount of time asking us if we wanted to take pictures. There was no heater above the scale and I witnessed my daughter freezing. They were more concerned with pictures then my daughters temperature.
