I needed a new battery for my watch and popped in on the off-chance of getting it done that day. I was told he would put a new battery in while I waited and then asked if I would keep a new strap as the old one had seen better days. He had a good selection and I was able to have a lovely blue strap, fitted straight away. Excellent local business, great service and great choice!

Incredibly pleased with the service David at Hendy's gave us. I had my mum's ring, and my 2 nans rings and David got one made bigger, and the other rhodium plated so I could match with my platinum rings. With my mums ring, David gave the idea to use the stone for a necklace and with a platinum chain. He did such a good job, communication through text was really helpful once the pieces were ready to collect. Highly recommend our local gem of a jewellers.

Very small inside and I could not hear the assistant as there was another customer talking to another assistant and the 2 of them drowned out any chance I had of hearing what I was being told. They were helpful, but if they had asked me to leave my damaged ring and get a fixed price I would have, but instead I was given a ballpark repair cost and asked if I wanted to think about it? So I went elsewhere and got a fixed price which was a shame as I have brought from this shop before and drove 10 miles to specifically go there.
