Extremely disappointed with this physician's billing practices. My daughter has been unfairly jerked around by this practice when requesting refills. Refusing to allow patients to give permission for another adult to pick up prescriptions and then falsely claiming it is a law is both unprofessional and extremely burdensome to the patient. I am fully aware of all laws governing dispensing of controlled substances and it is clear this doc is trying to pad her billing with extra visits. Shame!
Dr. Gonchigar is very knowledgeable and welcoming. She shows great empathy for her patients. My personal experience with her has been extremely positive. She validating many of my concerns and I feel like I finally have the diagnosis that makes since with the treatment plan that is working. Highly recommend her.
I live 9 mnths of the year in Va, and 3 elsewhere. When I first reached out to them & on my 1st visit was told don't worry, I would get refills on my medications for the summer as trying to get established in a different state with a new doctor would take so long and cause a lapse in medication. When it came time to leave Va they refused to provided a prescription that had refills. They also would not submit 1. Ended up off meds cold turkey and worse off than ever.
