Absolutely terrible, just look at the reviews on booking.com, everyone else can't be wrong 🤷, i can honestly say this was the worst hotel i have stayed in, the photos make it look nice. If you have booked this and can cancel i honestly would !!! Even still advised as full English breakfast this is not true. Eggs & cereal. And replying to my review as they won awards (probably in growing Mould) and pride in how clean. They must be looking at my photos with no glasses on.
Went to check in could not find anyone had to call a mobile number then a guy appeared to let us in our room however couldn't give us any information because apparently he didn't work there, Full tea tray in the the room with one cup but NO kettle !? Booked breakfast and no-one in sight ?? Talking to another guy there with a family of 4 been sat in the breakfast room around 20 mins not a soul to be seen, understandably he was a bit upset having to go out and pay for breakfast for 4 people when it stated it was included. Such a shame this place has gone down hill so rapidly since the previous owners retired. I stayed here every year for 10 for Rebellion festival. Absolutely disgusting and filthy now. We were given no towels despite asking 5 times! Had to buy our own in the end. Paid for parking at the rear (which used to be free) now have a parking company chasing for a fine and the "hotel" isn't responding to phone calls or emails. Avoid this place like the plague.
