What the Hell? – We went to the new location for brunch this past weekend, and I was disappointed by the poor service, expensive prices and small portions. My portobello mushroom Benedict, while tasty, cost $12.50 and consisted of a single egg atop a single mushroom cap with a slice of ham in between, covered in hollandaise. A small serving of hash browns and some fresh fruit completed the plate. I went away hungry and disappointed. The service was slow but not because they were too busy -- rather none of the wait staff seem... read more

Best breakfast ever! – I love the new location! Much more spacious and you can see all of the steadman art collection. I love the breakfasts here. The sausage is uniquely sweet and spicy. The portions are perfect. Every time I go here I like it more. Now with the new location I think I might just be heading there for dinner instead of just breakfast!

Fun and Different Breakfast Experience – We went here for a Co-workers birthday lunch. Breakfast for lunch - Awesome! I had the lemon ricotta hotcakes, and as they tell you on the menu, there is no syrup needed. We made reservations and got a great table. Our waiter was very friendly and helpful, and everyone in my party loved their food. We plan to visit again soon.

Worst Excuse for a Jazz Club in the Twin Cities – If there was one place in the Twin Cities to avoid its Rossi's Blue Star! While the steaks are great, they are extremely overpriced and served by some of the most repulsive arrogant waitstaff known to man, clearly a reflection of its management. Blue Star claims to be a jazz club but has insulted and angered nearly all of the Twin Cities finest jazz musicians and has treated veteran local musicians shoddy and disrespectful. I attended a show at the Blue Star by jazz legend Ja... read more

Overrated - other better restaurants out there! – I gave it a try twice. Why is this popular? Breakfast was passable, but slow to arrive and small. Soooo many better breakfast restaurants in town. Lunch was small and not that good. Waiter got order wrong even though I said it twice - I could tell he wasn't listening! Two others with me had same opinions.

Poor quality food. Very expensive. Intrusive service. – This subterranean restaurant disappointed us in many ways. The prices were high ($49 for the house special steak). The steaks arrived luke-warm, were fatty and gristly to the point of being almost inedible. The side dishes of vegetables were heavily salted and also arrived luke-warm. The "freshly made" apple pie was obviously just microwaved, with a soggy crust, and again was barely warm. The service was intrusive to the point of making it uncomfortable to carry on a co... read more

Scan your food with a metal detector first! – I ate lunch at Hell's Kitchen on June 24, 2008, and perhaps the name alone should have kept me away. I ordered the Porridge and the Huevos Rancheros. Half way through the Rancheros I felt something sharp in my mouth. What did I discover? A STAPLE in my food. A staple, can you believe it, bent and twisted, one swallow from heading down my throat. Management couldn't explain it and offered me a gift card for a return visit. Needless to say, I declined the offer and will NEVER retur... read more

Don't confuse this with the TV Chef Ramsay namesake. This place is certainly much better!! I am from San Francisco, a place that serves up a decent restaurant or two, and I eat here every time I am in the MSP. It is my favorite restaurant here. From the bison benedict to the huevos to the bloody marys to the home made peanut butter to the awesome cinnamon buns to the sausage bread to the walleye and chips to the . . . well, let's just say I am pleasantly surprised every time I come. Despite the casual appearance of the decor... read more

Meat is Always Good – The pork is the best. I've tried lots of places. Both expensive and cheap but no one comes close to Rossi's. I've decided not to try anymore places because I have been disappointed so many times. Rossi's kitchen staff knows how to cook it just perfect so that it is not overcook but thick and juicy. The serving size is the same as dinner's so go during happy hour for a great deal.
