Received Ford Escape back in worse condition than it was before the service. Removed over 3 gallons of water from the floor pan. They tried to blame the moonroof, but went we did a test, car drained fine. Then, they blamed the roof racks. I am more inclined to believe that either a window was left open or the car was parked in what became a river after heavy rains. They replaced the actuators as they cited them as the issue. Helfman had an Aston Martin they took in on trade for 35k. GM of the store (Kurt) and I agreed to 40k pending a clean inspection. I put down 10k as a deposit, signed paperwork and a handshake saying its my car if the inspection is clean. While the car was on the lift finishing being inspected... I told Kurt I would take it. Few minutes later, he said "we just got a call for 47k". No deposit, credit app etc, just an inquiry. And said he cannot sell me the car because there was a higher bidder after the deal was done. I have been a satisfied customer since returning to Houston in 2012. I have experienced excellent sales and service from Helfman. Personnel are professional and upfront yet with a personal touch that makes me feel comfortable doing business with Helfman again and again.
Straightforward and knowledgeable sales team. Amir is great spokesperson for the dealership. Cuts to the chase. Overall very seamless experience buying a car. If I need another car first thing I do is call Amir at Hellman.
