The one and only cake I've ever bought from this establishment was for my son's birthday. The cake was gross and dry, and none of the party guests asked for seconds. Do yourself a favor and take your business elsewhere if you value your money!
Heitzman located on Dixie Hwy has got to be the worst in taste and in customer service. The bakery and owner is a joke and will be receiving papers in the mail for court. When you expect your monies worth and its not up to your expectation with anything you deserve your money back. A child's birthday ruined and they have no care in the world for their customers. I have ordered cakes from Heitzman Bakery for over 30 years. My mother, older sister and myself wedding cakes came from there as tradition (Eastern Pkwy Location). I always order my birthday cake from Heitzman. I was so disaapointed and disgusted last week with the cake that I received from the Dixie Hwy location. I ordered the cake on 06/05/2014 with pick up on Friday 06/06/2014. When I got to the bakery to pick up the cake the box it was in was terrible, it had greasy spots all over it like it had been handled to many time... read more
Do you all do any sort of classes or job shawdowing? My son is going to be a freshman in High School and wants to be a baker. He has made some cakes and they are really nice but would like to work in a bakery for a day just to see what it is like.
