I typically go to a different bakery in town, but we were not in that area on Saturday. I stopped in to buy some iced cookies for Easter. I couldn’t decide so I purchased a few from the case and a package of the black and white cookies. I wish I would have never stepped foot into the store because as soon as we returned home, all the cookies went directly into the trash! I’ll start with a direct quote from the owner, “Our shop has never given cash refunds and it never will.” I’ve been buying cakes from here for almost 8 years, including cakes for our wedding. Thanks for making the wrong sports (hockey sticks instead of a basketball) cake and not doing anything to help. Then you hung up on my wife. Poor customer service.
This cake was an absolutely embarrassment and did not by any means look like a cake from a bakery It doesn’t matter if a cake is $12 or $100 dollars a bakery should provide a quality product Not a cake that does not look like a finished product. The cake is not level and the icing is not evenly spread there are spots where you can see the cake through the icing. As a business that provides a product it is a shame when a poor product is given to customer and then the customer is blamed for the poor quality of the product.
POOR QUALITY CAKES AND HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE! I ask for a very simple smash cake for my daughters first birthday and what I received looked like my 3 year old niece made it in her easy bake oven! When I called to complain they acted like it was MY fault and refused to give me a refund.
