The desserts are always delicious, but the coffee offerings are terrible. Their coffee cost the same as a cup from Starbucks, and at Starbucks I don't have to pour it myself and they have more than some disgusting powdered "creamer".
Yay! Now Heitzman's has slices of cake in Kroger!! Tried the strawberry one! Delish! Thank you. Best bakery ever. Wish there was more locations. I would work there!
Horrible service they messed up my cake and wanted to charge me another $79 to fix their mistake. Not to mention they do not give refunds I walked away with out a cake today.
I ordered this cake from Heitzmen Bakery on Bardstown Rd. I asked for a cake that looked like a castle. This is what I got and they changed me $125 for it. I wouldn't have care what it cost as long as it was what I wanted. Their response was that there wasn't much they could do for $30 worth of design. Lesson learned never going to Heitzmen Bakery for a cake again.
Will not go back. Ordered a dozen. She counted 12 two times. Still was short.

The cake was supposed to be ivory. I asked for whipped icing, but the said it doesn't take the overt dye very well, so I complied and just got cream cheese icing on the cupcakes surrounding the cake. Got my cake and it was nothing like the picture. Just to get a bow cost ten dollars extra and the bow looked thrown together. The color was white, not ivory. My cream cheese red velvet cupcakes were buttercream. Fondant was supposed to be used on the cake but red icing was used instead. The icing bled badly. The cake wasn't even... read more
