My wife and I both went for an “eye date” at Heffington’s. We both left with new prescription glasses and sunglasses. The Doctor and the staff were all very courteous and helpful. We found a great place for our annual optometry needs. Mark and Heather are wonderful and we love supporting local business. Plus the progressive lenses were made right here in Springfield in 48 hours.
Great selection of frames, excellent customer service and staff, competitive prices and a sweet golden retriever to pet while you visit the store!! A lot of businesses are sorely lacking in customer service, but Heffington's goes above and beyond to make sure you get what you want and need.

OK best experience I have ever had. The staff is awesome, Dr. Scheid (SP? was so patient and awesome...got fitted for contacts and we're trying to find the balance between prescriptions and I dont feel like Im a number at all. They took the time to make sure I'm informed on what my options are. Will be getting my glasses there as well! Also let's be honest, your best employee is the welcoming committee Duke! What a great dog! Love him!

Ive had glasses for 20 years but this was my 1st visit to Heffington's. They had me at Duke's friendly greeting. Duke is a well mannered, smart and loving golden retriever. DR Schneid performed a very professional, thorough and informative eye exam and Mark was so good at helping me select frames that worked for my lenses and make me feel good when I wear them.
