Foley Building, the second building on the block designed by prolific Texas courthouse architect Eugene T. Heiner was buit in 1889. Much of the credit for the current state of the great building goes to former owner Lee Benner.

RecommendedI recently went to hearsay on a weekday after being on coronavirus hibernation for months. This was one of the first times I had dined indoors since coronavirus started. Manager Vincent was amazing! He kept the kitchen open beyond 9 PM to serve dinner to me and my date, was very helpful explaining cocktail choices and even treated us to a little mini bourbon tasting!
