We at Hearsay Gastro Lounge are pleased to be in the midst of Houston history in this great building. The W. L. Foley Building, the second building on the block designed by prolific Texas courthouse architect Eugene T. Heiner was buit in 1889. Much of the credit for the current state of the great building goes to former owner Lee Benner.

Stopped in to grab a cocktail after a long day of work. Chatted with the GM (Vince) & Kassandra (server) who recommended either a King Henry or Angel’s Envy Boulevardier. Ended up sipping an Angel’s Envy Boulevardier & it was absolutely AMAZING. Arguably the best spot for Sunday brunch, but don’t sleep on their cocktails. Some of the best in Houston!! Had a great time and Vince was amazing! The cocktail menu had plenty to choose from and I was guided in the right direction for sure. They also played quite a few of my favorite bands on the playlist they have so I’ll definitely be back. Thanks to Vince for making me feel at home in my busy life.

First time tonight. Taylor and the bar and wait staff were amazing. The manager was super friendly and made us feel so welcome. Great food, great drinks and signature cocktails, amazing building, top music 🎵 playing and amazing staff. We will defo be back. Alan & Joanna. Thanks guys.

Love this Perfect downtown Historic building and restaurant. My Husband and I live downtown and this is one of our faves. Vincent always makes it a point to come and meet the family and retell the history lesson every time we bring new people. He keeps us informed on the new drinks they come up with and the atmosphere is always so chill!! We feel like we have become part of the Hearsay family. Highly recommended Spot downtown. My favorite Brunch spot. Excellent service between the great staff and the manager Vince who always makes it a point to make sure we have everything we need and come out and say Hi to the family. Awesome atmosphere and music. Great drinks!! Check it out!!
