We at Hearsay Gastro Lounge are pleased to be in the midst of Houston history in this great building. The W. L. Foley Building, the second building on the block designed by prolific Texas courthouse architect Eugene T. Heiner was buit in 1889. Much of the credit for the current state of the great building goes to former owner Lee Benner.

As downtown Houston residents, we have our pick of some of the best restaurants and bars in the city all within walking distance, and Hearsay is hands down our absolute favorite spot. As a first time customer, there is not enough kind words that can describe my amazing experience at the Hearsay. I stumbled across this beautiful bar while looking for something new to try in Houston. As soon as I walked in the door the atmosphere took my breath away. This is my first experience at Hearsay Gastro Lounge and I must say that it was one to remember and came as a pleasant surprise. The ordered the Filet Mignon and it was perhaps the best I had ever had. The music I was hearing was of great taste and it went well with the environment and was consistent with what I enjoy listening to whilst relaxing.
