Foley Building, the second building on the block designed by prolific Texas courthouse architect Eugene T. Heiner was buit in 1889. Much of the credit for the current state of the great building goes to former owner Lee Benner.

First of all, we did not receive the table we requested when we called ahead to reserve a spot the week before. Second, our table wasn't ready when we arrived. Third, our waiter Anthony was atrocious. We came for my sister-in-law's bachelorette party and were treated horribly. He ignored us and did not treat us as if we were out for a special occasion. First time here and loved the three piece band playing in the corner on a Sunday afternoon. Wonderful Kale and chicken salad. Lots of spirits to choose from. Very tastefully decorated! Fast service.

Always a favorite for Sunday brunch. But get there early because everyone in Houston has discovered this gem and it fills fast. Great drinks, food and blues to satisfy your soul.
