We at Hearsay Gastro Lounge are pleased to be in the midst of Houston history in this great building. The W. L. Foley Building, the second building on the block designed by prolific Texas courthouse architect Eugene T. Heiner was buit in 1889. Much of the credit for the current state of the great building goes to former owner Lee Benner.

The ambiance is great but the food is pretty overpriced. The menu said “New York Strip” but both my husband I got a tuff piece of meat with a lot of gristle. About an hour after we left I lost my $35 lunch. Not a repeat for us.
Absolutely loved our drinks, our appetizer, our dinner and the service.
Excellent service and the STEAK!!! Wow!!!
Exceptional eating establishment! Kevin Smoot, one of the partners was a gracious host who went out of his way to greet us. The service made us feel special and both the appetizers and food was extraordinary. Try the cheesesteak egg rolls. Killer!
Josh was very professional and helped us add an extra person to our reservation when they were all booked up! I appreciated all of his help!
