Went to the Emergency Dept. on Monday evening after developing an allergic reaction to unknown source. Was taken immediately to triage then to a treatment room. I was very impressed how responsive the staff was to my condition. Immediately started IV and administered antihistamines and other lifesaving medications. Dr. Grate arrived and stayed with me in case he had to perform a tracheotomy to help me breath. After receiving more medications, I started to improve and Dr. Grate went home. Mom was admitted Friday and her care has been excellent. The staff has been very attentive.

This hospital is horrible about communication. Doctors won't speak with family if they have already spoken to the patient. Won't answer questions. Have had to get charge nurse involved along with patient advocacy. I would never come back here nor would recommend it to anyone I know. I have had two nurses tell us we should sigh ourself out and go someplace else. That speaks volumes if they don't have confidence in their own workplace.
This hospital is awesome! ALL the staff have been just wonderful.
