My partner Sue and I stayed at Hawks Barn for a long weekend in August '24, whilst taking on the Yorkshire 3 Peaks challenge and visiting local attractions. We had a superb visit. Hawks Barn is located a short distance from the 3 Peaks route and is spacious, clean and well equipped. Tilly and Wayne were very welcoming and helpful, and went the extra mile to make sure we were comfortable. They also proved to have an extremely good local knowledge, which helped make our visit that bit better.
My friends and I stayed here for a walking holiday and had a great time. The barn has been done to a really high standard, everything was spotless on arrival, super comfortable beds, and lovely little touches as well. Excellent communication, nothing felt like too much trouble. They were really accommodating with my one year old as well, and had a travel cot already set up and her own little towel too. Highly recommend to all.
Four night stay over the late August bank holiday weekend. Perfect base for Yorkshire 3 Peaks walk (we did this epic walk on the Saturday). Pen-y-ghent views from the barn. Barn is lovely in excellent condition & high standard. Tilly & Wayne excellent hosts. Great communication throughout and speedy return of deposit. Would recommend.
We had a great stay at Hawks Barn. Tilly and Wayne were very welcoming hosts, and the barn was really well equipped with nice modern decor and a lovely bathroom (we particularly liked that each bedroom was named after one of the 3 peaks!). The location was the perfect launch pad for our 3 peaks trip, with the Pen-y-ghent starting point in Horton a short walk down the road. Thanks again for a great stay!
