Recently, I had the good fortune to stay at Haven Hall, which is more of a home than a hotel. What an exquisite experience! The property is lovely with gardens and overhanging trees. There is a charming area near the swimming pool where one can sit and enjoy a stunning view of the sea. Very peaceful indeed. Stunning location, clean and well decorated rooms, excellent staff and very kind owners, couldn’t ask for more. Somehow combines the luxury and homely feel. Close to the train station too which is very convenient, and Shanklin itself is a picturesque town. Views and location like the Côte d’Azur, but for just a quarter of the price. Beautiful and tastefully decorated hotel in a great location. My son and I had a wonderful weekend there. Great cycling and hiking options in every direction.
